9:35-10:50  Jazz (2 levels)
11-12:15  Tap and Hip Hop (alternating days)
12:15-1:30 Lunch
1:30-2:45 Ballet (2 levels)
3:00-4:15  Contemporary/modern
4:30-5:15  Rehearsal
5:30-6:45 dinner

Evening Schedules
Monday 6:45   Hike to Lava tubes with dinner at the trail head.
Tuesday 6:45-7:45 on Tuesday massage/stretch class
Wednesday 5:30-6:30 Class on Healthy habits, then Fun night at Gina’s (pool table, ping-pong, trampoline, hot tub, outdoor movie, fire for roasting hot dogs/marshmallows.)
Thursday 6:45-8:30 Swimming at the Aqua Plex 
Friday – extra rehearsals, performance at theater, sleep-over at the studio with movies, music, games.
Saturday:  Farewell.  Parent pick-up at 9 a.m.

Policies and information:

What is Step Up?
It is a week-long summer dance intensive in the cool pines of Flagstaff. Dance classes include Jazz, modern/contemporary, rhythm, ballet, and some specialty classes.

Who is it for?
All dancers ages 12- adult.  Dances will be placed in classes by levels. 

When is it?
There will be an opening reception on Sunday, July 11.  Classes will run Monday through Friday.  There is a closing party Friday night (youth dancers can opt to sleep over at the studio).  Saturday morning farewell.

What is included?
Dance classes all day by master teachers from all over the country.
Lunches and dinners are provided.
Evening activities such as swimming, hiking, bon fire, movies.

If I'm coming from out of town, where can I stay?
Dancers can stay with a host family for FREE! There are some host families available who can housesome of the dancers.  Just let us know that you need someone to stay with.  If you prefer, you can make your own arrangements. 

Where are the classes?
They will be at Canyon Dance Academy (2812 N. Izabel St., Flagstaff) and across the street at Coconino High School Stage.  Other activies will be in the Flagstaff area.

Will I get to perform?
Yes, there will be some informal performance opportunities!

How do I register? 
Go to the registration page on the tab at the top.  Copy and paste the form into a word document.  Fill it out.  Print it and mail it with payment to the address on the form.
